BIOREF^® is an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified company founded in year 1983, which offers the following products and services for medical diagnostics:

Control sera for the medical diagnostic laboratory
BIOREF has developed a broad range of different control sera, which are liquid and very stable. These control sera are produced by a special manufacturing process in BIOREF's production laboratory. Of course all BIOREF control sera are labelled with the CE-mark.

Organization and performance of proficiency studies for the quality control in clinical diagnostic laboratories
These proficiency studies are comparable to the ring trials performed by the Institute for Standardization and Documentation in the Medical Laboratories reg. ass. (INSTAND) and the Reference Institute for Bioanalytics of the German Society or Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine reg. ass. (Reference Institute of the DGKL). In contrast to the ring trials mentioned above, BIOREF performs long-term studies which allow repeated optimization of test procedures in the course of the study.
