Proficiency Studies

In addition to the control sera for the internal quality control BIOREF also offers regular proficiency studies for the external quality control. They are conducted with a BIOREF liquid control serum, which is used in the daily routine of the participating laboratories. The results are collected by the study centre for statistical analysis, which is performed every three months. The duration of the study is normally one year.

Thus BIOREF gives you the possibility to compare the long-term performance of your laboratory with other laboratories and to improve it if necessary.
